How it all started…
In 1976 IMA started manufacturing automatic machines for the packaging of pharmaceutical products by launching the first monobloc blister packaging machine. A success in terms of technological research and innovation achieved by IMA.
This precious heritage has been brought into IMA Safe division where the activities of the former IMA Packaging Division and other Group companies operating in primary and secondary packaging have been included.
Production range
IMA Safe manufactures a complete range of blister packaging machines, capsule and tablet counters, tube fillers and cartoners and provides complete end-of-line solutions – over-wrapping, shrink-wrapping, case packing and palletizing – manufactured by IMA BFB division. In collaboration with Universal Pack, IMA Safe supplies lines for heat-sealed single-dose sachets and stick packs. High production efficiency, ease of use, low maintenance and a minimal waste of packaging materials are the hallmarks of IMA Safe machines.
