IMA LIFE offers machines for the washing and sterilization of pharmaceutical products, filling and stoppering in aseptic environments of vials, ampoules and “RTF” vials, syringes and cartridges, microdosing and macrodosing of aseptic powders, including isolation technology and containment solutions as well as industrial, pilot and laboratory freeze-dryers, which can be combined with the industry’s widest range of automated loading and unloading systems. IMA LIFE also offers filling and closing machines of non aseptic pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, labellers for vials, ampoules and cartons, blowing machines, depackers, tray loading machines and other ancillary equipment
Production sites
Five different production sites ensure the wide range of machinery, each one specialized in a specific part of the process:
- One is located in Calenzano near Florence,
- one in Ozzano near Bologna,
- one in Siena,
- one in Tonawanda (USA) and
- one in Beijing (China).
It can also count on two dedicated Service Centers for the Freeze Drying equipment having seat in Milan (IT) and Dongen (NL).
Production capacities
More than 150 machines a year are produced in the filling field, most of which are integrated in complete processing lines, due to an intimate knowledge of machine integration and line functioning logic, which is guaranteed by dedicated facilities and staff for equipment assembly integration.
